Who is responsible
VOR is run by an individual based in the United Kingdom, who is the controller of your personal data under UK GDPR. Contact: support@vor-ai.com.
What we hold, and why
- Email address and password. To run your account. Passwords are stored only as a salted scrypt hash; we cannot see your password.
- Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your membership status. To know whether your membership is paid. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Discord user ID and display name, only if you link Discord. To add and remove the Subscriber role. We do not keep your Discord login token.
- Service logs. Short technical records such as account numbers and billing events, kept so we can fix problems. Your IP address is used briefly in memory to slow down password guessing and is not written to our database.
Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you, plus our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We keep records of payments for as long as UK tax law requires.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in, and a second for ten minutes while you link Discord. Both are strictly necessary. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts on this site.
Who else is involved
- Stripe processes payments and runs the billing portal.
- Discord, if you choose to link your account.
- Resend (resend.com) sends account email - address confirmation and password resets. It receives your email address and the message.
- Binance. The desk fetches public market data straight from Binance in your browser, so Binance receives your IP address like any website you visit. We send Binance nothing about you.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
While you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@vor-ai.com. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
